Solomon Chiu
offers bespoke legal advice to the modern enterprise on a value-based, fixed fee structure. No hourly rates, hidden fees, or surprises. He supports Canadian businesses and advises entrepreneurs and investors of start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Greater Vancouver.Having studied and lived in Hong Kong, United Kingdom, and Canada, Solomon understands the dynamics of unique business cultures and practices.
He provides clients with pre-emptive advice and business-focused solutions. He serves each client personally and works closely with tax advisors on the purchase and sale of assets and shares, incorporation and restructuring, shareholders' agreement, and commercial leasing and negotiation.
For each business and family under his care, Solomon advises on wills, estates, and succession plans for the transfer of business or wealth from one generation to another, including probate and intestacy.
Solomon obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the University of British Columbia and a Master's degree in Law from the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom.
He is committed to educating the public and sharing legal insights as a regular speaker on Deborah Moore's show on l Fairchild Radio AM 1470.
Outside of private practice, Solomon is an avid reader, strength trainer, and serving member of the Vancouver Christian Assembly.
